Artist Reception & Refreshments
& Launch of the Lincoln MKS and Ford Flex
All month long: visit our main showroom to preview this exhibit and
enter a drawing to win an original piece of artwork

The public is invited to Stevens Auto Group main showroom, 717-739 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, on Thursday, November 6th, from 5 pm to 7 pm, to enjoy a “wine and hors d’oeuvres” opening to launch the arrival of the hottest new Lincoln MKS and Ford Flex, and celebrate the opening of Stevens Auto Artist Of The Month photographer, Milford resident Edie Francoeur.  The exhibit may also be previewed in the Stevens Auto Group main showroom at 717 Bridgeport Avenue Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and all day Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information call Priscilla Lynn at 783-5924 or visit www.stevensauto.com.

 

BIO:

Edie Francoeur has a long history of enjoying photograpy, beginning with taking family photos at the age of five. While she enjoys all areas of photography, her passion lies in nature, birds and animals. According to Edie, “running field trips and judging for the Connecticut Camera Clubs, along with weekend getaways, and continuing education classes are always fun, and give me the opportunity to share idea with other photographers.” Her memberships are expansive, and include: Connecticut Association of Photographers, Haven Camera Club, Photographer Society of America, Huntington Photographic Society, Yankee Photographic Society, Milford Camera Club – Past President, New England Camera Club representative for The Milford Camera Club, Greater Bridgeport Camera Club – Past President, Connecticut Association of Photographers representative for The Greater Bridgeport Camera Club, Chairman for The Milford Fine Arts Photo Expo.

 

Edie received the title “Master Member Of The New England Camera Club” (MNEC) in July 2006, and she volunteers annually for MNEC’s Council at The University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She has received local and national awards, and has exhibited at The Milford Library, The Case Memorial Library in Orange, and Borders Book Store in Fairfield. Her September 11 Memorial photograph hangs above the war memorial at Sikorsky Aircraft headquarters in Stratford. Upcoming exhibit locations include 300 George Street in New Haven mid-January to mid-February 2009. Her work is also available to purchase at The Walnut Beach Firehouse Gallery in Milford.
